A Celebration of the Word of God
An easy-to-follow guide, designed for use in the home and by the laity, to help you and your family enter into daily reading of the Word of God and Spiritual Communion. This guide is particularly for these times when we are not able to attend Mass together but still yearn to unite ourselves with Christ through a familiar form and structure akin to the Liturgy of the Word.
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
We are happy to provide this resource developed out of St. Therese Institute of Faith and Mission (Bruno, SK), in collaboration with Fr. Geoffrey Young (Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Saskatoon, SK), to support you, the faithful, in your prayer as members of the Mystical Body of Christ. We hope that this Celebration of the Word of God will be a blessing to you and those close to you as you encounter the Lord Jesus, the Word of God, more deeply in the scriptures, especially during this time when we are not able to gather together as a church community due to the civil restrictions that have been put in place in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
