Mission Year Courses

At St. Therese Institute, you will dive into undergraduate-level courses on Scripture, Church History, Philosophy, and much more!

In the initial Catholic Gap Year Program, young men and women experience life-changing growth in their faith and relationship with Christ, discovering a community; a church; a home. The Mission Year program is a year of mission, where you will become leaders and culture-builders.

In the Mission Year, you will live, lead, and learn a Theresian vision of missionary work: the outpouring of Divine Love in every sphere of life.

Once the weeks of orientation are complete, you will take undergraduate-level courses. These courses run from October to March. They spend approx. two hours per week in each course. Once you have have completed the second year of the program, you will receive an Advanced Certificate in Catholic Studies for the Lay Apostolate.
