What is our STAY program?
Our STAY program, short for St. Therese Apostolic Year, is for those who have completed two years of our formation program and have a desire to serve another year within the community. These men and women have deep love for God and their neighbour, lived their years in formation with integrity and joy, and are excellent witnesses of the Little Way.

MISSION:

VISION:
- The Apostolic Year is an active response to the apostolic call of your baptism. You have grown as a missionary disciple – now live as an intentional missionary. Join the operations team of a real mission of the New Evangelization, here at
St. Therese . This is an authentic missionary-apprenticeship, but lived in intentional community, where the sacraments, daily prayers, communal mealtimes, and one-to-one mentoring dynamically support your spiritual and professional growth.
The Ethos
This is a year of offering, but it is also an opportunity to grow in practical, resume-worthy experiences and professional skills that will aid you once you leave
Imagine for a moment: A custom team with custom roles. Imagine reviewing your personal charisms and gifts with the mission staff, then working together to build a role in which you flourish as well as serve.
Imagine baking homemade bread, making kombucha, making homemade broth, canning for the pantry, and more.
Imagine traveling coast-to-coast to all kinds of events to be the ambassador of STIFM.
Imagine being the marketing coordinator and creating the new branding strategy for STIFM.
Imagine being the event coordinator and calling speakers across North America, planning and coordinating events throughout the country, and leading events with excellence.
Imagine furthering the formation program by teaching, guiding, and mentoring the first years.
Imagine using your hands and learning maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and more to further the mission of STIFM through stewardship of the building.
Imagine spearheading, creating, and implementing an exciting, new podcast.
Imagine taking the music program to new heights – organizing an instrumental ensemble or directing a schola cantorum to bless our liturgical life.
Imagine diving into accounting and organizational management to help bring the organizational structure of STIFM to the next level.
