We were very blessed to have Archbishop Luigi Bonazzi, Apostolic Nuncio to Canada, join us to celebrate our Commissioning of the Class of 2017 on Saturday, May 20.

On the evening prior to the Commissioning, Archbishop Bonzaai presented us with an Apostolic Blessing from Pope Francis in recognition and celebration of our 10th year! He also brought with him gifts from Pope Francis for each of our 36 students.

Thank you to all who have helped St. Therese grow in our first 10 years, and we are looking forward to, in the words of Archbishop Luigi, “years 11, 12… and 25!”

The text of the Apostolic Blessing reads:
His Holiness Pope Francis / graciously bestows the Apostolic Blessing upon the members of  /  St. Therese Institute of Faith and Mission /  Bruno, Saskatchewan  / celebrating their tenth anniversary on May 21, 2017 / Invoking the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Holy Father prays that in imitation of their heavenly patron, they may joyfully and humbly follow in her “little way’ along the path that leads to Christ.
