Well, I can’t believe that it’s been one month since I have arrived at St. Therese. I sensed right from the start that I was supposed to be here. We’ve had some awesome talks from some of God’s people but most of all I was moved at how God has worked in our lives and got us here together. Wow!

God is definitely present here. You can sense Him in the liturgies, in our prayer meetings and see Him in changed hearts and excited smiles as we learn about Him and the Church.
St. Therese School is a place that God is using to teach us how to love so we are able to spread this to the world.

I love how God is working in my life here at St. Therese. He is drawing me closer to Himself through prayer and through our different classes. I am learning about my faith and am being challenged to live it out.

God is so good. He has blessed our family with the great walk of St. Therese School and the community of Bruno. The challenges my wife Angela and I had moving our family of six have been enough to handle. It is all worth being in a class of mature students who hunger for Jesus, the Church, and the “little way.” With an experienced staff on fire working together to make things move as smooth and to His plan as possible. Which allows me to focus on getting past my way, and embrace “the way.”

I came to St. Therese School of Faith and Mission so hungry, and, since being here, I have been fed in every way. The community and quality of instruction and guidance is incredible. I feel so blessed! I am looking so forward to the rest of the year in this beautiful place of faith and would recommend the program for anyone who has a desire for growth in an atmosphere of truth and love.

I left home at the age of 16 and started getting involved with drugs and alcohol. I came to St. Therese School after realizing that my life was going nowhere. It has been a tough year for me, but St. Therese is the best thing I have ever done!

Being at St. Therese is one of those “you had to be there!” experiences. A loving community which came together as friends in a matter of days is an understatement. The atmosphere is so much under the hand of the Holy Spirit. Again, an unexplainable experience. I have a waiting sense of excitement and anticipation for God to reveal His plan for all of us here this year. The way the school, staff & students have come into place is a mystery! I am thrilled to be in this beautiful place of spiritual growth.

For me, coming here is like coming out of deep water back into the air. It is being able to breathe freely. People accept you for you no matter where you’ve come from. It’s an opportunity for me to spread my wings and fly secure in the knowledge that when I fall, God will catch me.

Life at St. Therese thus far has been everything between awesome and challenging. It is bound to be an adventurous year, in light of what we have already learned and shared. Living and studying with people who share the same passion to know and live out the truth of our faith is incredible. What an invaluable opportunity to learn and gain the essential tools for the journey of life!

Who am I? Who am I to be in such a place? I am so delighted to be a part of this new mission with my husband Lorne. This place clearly communicates purpose. My senses are alive and acute to the messages given by so many Christ-centered people here at the school. He has chosen me, He has chosen Lorne and I to be witnesses, to be disciples for Him. So, who am I or who are we? We are His chosen ones. We are His hands and feet. We are His beloved. Thank you to those who had a vision for the St. Therese School—you answered the call, you became His hands and feet.

Wow!!! St. Therese has been absolutely amazing! We have only been here for one month and I have already learned so much. I have grown in my faith and also my ability to interact with and be a part of a Catholic Community. The “teachers” are amazing! Our director has been a major blessing! Thus far everything about St. Therese has been a major blessing, I don’t expect that to change, this year or in years to follow.

Hello! I won’t be joining the students at St. Therese until December 1, 2007. I’m very excited and looking forward to getting there. It is a wonderful opportunity to learn and grow in relationship with God, and live in community within the graces of His church. I desire to especially become closer in my relationship with the Holy Spirit and learn to discern and obey His leading in everyday life. St. Therese School is the movement of God in our midst, a great offering of transformation and Christian maturing to Catholics of all ages.

I came to St. Therese not knowing what to expect. I was hired on as the Chief Power Engineer and I also decided to be a student in order to learn more about my faith. I have been profoundly changed by my time here and by the speakers: it was as if God was talking directly to me through the speakers. There have been challenges but I am growing through them and look forward to the rest of the year. I really enjoy the faith community [and] I am excited to become the Man of Faith that God wants me to be.

I know that God has called me to St. Therese but I have to say that when I came here I really didn’t know what to expect, I just knew that He wanted me to come here. So I made an act of faith and trust in Him and came over to the small town of Bruno, SK. At this point, I am still trying to discern what God wants to do with me this year but I would have to say that St. Therese School is primarily about receiving healing and love from God so that you can go back into the broken world and bring God’s healing and love to others “so that they might have life and have it to the full” (John 10:10).

Before attending St. Therese, the idea that our God is a loving God, One who is compassionate and understanding, was a foreign concept to me. But through the programs and the Little Way each day, my heart is being opened more and more to the One who loves me now, as I am. This journey into the Father’s heart has brought me so much joy and healing, it’s an adventure that tops all else!
