Chris O'Hara (Class of 2010) wrote the following letter to a close friend of his while at St. Therese School of Faith and Mission inviting her to consider attending the nine-month formation program. After St. Therese, Chris continued his studies in music at Dalhousie University in Halifax. This is an invitation for you, too, to "Come & See" what God is doing at St. Therese!
My Dear Friend,
How has life been back at home? It’s starting to heat up here in Saskatchewan, and the days are quickly getting much longer. It’s nice to wake up to some natural light once in a while.
It’s kind of crazy to think you’ll be turning 18 in a couple of months (I hope to be back in time for your birthday), but then again, I will be 21 by the time next school year begins. I’m really excited to be back home to continue my univerity studies next year after having taken a year away to be here at St. Therese. Where are you going to be after you graduate? Did you ever think about coming out west for a year? Bear with me as I try to explain St. Therese School of Faith and Mission to you and why I think it would be a tremendously beneficial year for you, especially at this point in your life.

Student Application FAQ
When does the year start and what's the application deadline?
- The year begins with an Orientation Session starting 'Labour Day' Monday in September (Sept. 3, 2012 and Sept. 2, 2013) . However, you can enter the program after this date. If God wants you here, then who are we to argue?
- It is recommended that you submit your application before August 15 to ensure your spot (limited space!) and to give sufficient time for contacting references, planning (for both the applicant and St. Therese), etc. Applications will continue to be accepted after this date, but please don't procrastinate in sending it in!! :)
How much does it cost to attend STS?
- fees for tuition & residence are: $9,900.00 / year (Canadian dollars)

- PRINTABLE FORM: Please email Jim Anderson to obtain a printable copy of the application form that you can fill out by hand and send in.

(these items can be submitted afterwards by mail if you use the online application form) -
after you are accepted, additional items and a deposit will be required. Please see the Application Form for more details.

Confidential Reference Form(3 pages) - you will require references from 3 people (see Application Form for a list of acceptable references). You will need to provide either printed or emailed copy of the form to each reference. Your references will send the completed forms directly to St. Therese School.
