St. Therese Institute of Faith and Mission is a community of prayer, faith formation and healing, inspired by the spirituality of St. Therese of Lisieux, open to people of all faiths and beliefs.

Our mission is to offer Christian formation in an environment of prayer and scripture study within a life of Catholic spirituality, faithful to the Magisterium of the Church, the living tradition of the Church, and the heritage of Mary and all the Saints throughout the ages.

We offer two distinct and unique programs:
• the Healing and Growth Centre
• the School of Faith and Mission.

We desire that all people experience the saving power of Jesus Christ, the fullness of life in the Holy Spirit, and share the Good News of the Father’s provident love for our world in need.

St. Therese Institute of Faith and Mission began in 2007 in Bruno, Saskatchewan at the historic Ursuline Academy. The 65,000 sq ft facility is situated on 65 acres of beautiful grounds with walks lined with evergreen, poplar and birch trees, outdoor Stations of the Cross and a cherry orchard. We are a short 50 minutes east of Saskatoon. (map)

A Message from Bishop Albert LeGatt

"I believe that there would be young people from within our Catholic community and families that, as they are about to set out into the world, would benefit greatly from such an extended experience of Christian study, prayer and living to become really grounded in their faith and empowered wherever life will bring them.

"Therefore as you seek spiritual, organizational and financial support I wish to assure people of my blessing.

"May St. Therese Institute of Faith and Mission be blessed with an abundance of the graces that come from the Holy Spirit. May its graduates prove to be on fire with the love of Jesus Christ and witnesses to the glory of God for many years to come."

Most Reverend Albert LeGatt
Bishop of Saskatoon

The Science Behind the Shroud of Turin
---- Is it the ----
Face of God?
Fr. Terry Donahue is the Director of Lay Formation for the Companions of the Cross and an English Secretary for the
Papal Nuncio to Canada. As a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Fr. Terry has a strong background in science & technology. He has recently led a pilgrimage to Turin and has extensively researched the scientific evidence both for and against the authenticity of the Shroud of Turin as the burial cloth used for the body of Jesus Christ.

Donations gratefully accepted to cover the expense of bringing Fr. Donahue to teach at St. Therese School of Faith and Mission
